Stephanie Stern worked for more than 10 years in the private sector as a strategic planning and communication expert before joining the humanitarian sector. After a M.A in humanitarian management in 2014 and graduating from the Humanitarian Leadership Program of Deakin University, Stephanie joined the strategy & analysis department of Save the Children International in 2014. She then joined IRIS, the French think tank on strategic and international affairs as a researcher focusing on the transformation of the humanitarian system. She is member of the edtorial committee of Alternatives Humanitaires magazine. She integrated the Research and Expertise department of Action Against as a knowledge broker in 2016. She launched and manages the Knowledge LAB unit of Action Against Hunger France to reinforce the learning culture of the organization and pilot innovative ways to bridge the gap between research, knowledge and action.
