Research activity 3: Collective interviews during workshops

The workshops conducted in different regions allowed to identify 339 concepts with a bottom-up approach.  They were also opportunities to reach out to national and community-based organisations, whose views may not be well reflected in the survey and text-based analyses.  The interviews enabled humanitarian practitioners to express, using their own terminology, the core concepts they use in their daily practice.  Ways that concepts might be differently framed and salient in languages other than English were also explored.
